² With your own eyes you have seen those great trials, the miraculous signs, and great wonders, ^3 [a]but until now the Lord has not yet given you a heart that understands or eyes that see or ears that hear. ⁴ During the forty years that I led you in the desert, your clothes did nor tatter, nor did the sandals on your feet wear out.
